Senior Data Platform Engineer Snowflake & Azure

We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake Administration Azure SQL Python scripting automation and cloud data platform operations. The ideal candidate should have experience managing Snowflake environments implementing security and access controls optimizing performance automating administrative tasks and supporting production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Snowflake databases schemas warehouses users roles and access controls.
  
• Implement and manage RBAC security policies and platform administration standards.
  
• Monitor Snowflake performance optimize queries and manage resource utilization.
  
• Support data integration migration replication and onboarding activities.
  
• Develop scripts using Python or other scripting languages to automate administrative and operational tasks.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues platform incidents and performance bottlenecks.
  
• Support CI/CD pipelines deployment automation and DevOps processes.
  
• Collaborate with data engineering application infrastructure and analytics teams.
  
• Maintain technical documentation operational runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake Administration.
  
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
  
• Experience with Python scripting and automation.
  
• Strong understanding of Snowflake RBAC security and access management.
  
• Experience in performance monitoring query optimization and troubleshooting.
  
• Knowledge of data integration migration replication or CDC.
  
• Experience supporting production data platforms.
  
• Exposure to CI/CD DevOps and deployment automation.
  

Good to Have:

• Experience with Azure data services and data engineering platforms.
  
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline management.
  
• Exposure to other cloud data platforms and automation technologies.
