What Will You Do

To grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company you will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions.
• Design develop and maintain data pipelines using Fivetran and dbt
• Implement and maintain Snowflake data warehouse.
• Work closely with our data science and analytics teams to ensure data is accurate reliable and accessible while maintaining proper security protocols.
• Create and maintain documentation of data pipeline processes and procedures
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipeline performance
• Perform other duties and projects as requested
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data engineering develop and maintain data pipelines.

What Do You Need

To be considered for this role an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field
• 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Strong experience with Fivetran dbt and Snowflake
• Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms preferably Microsoft Azure
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience migrating from SQL Server to Snowflake a plus
