Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Design plan and conduct training sessions for players of all age groups and skill levels.
- Develop individualized skilldevelopment programs focusing on batting bowling fielding and fitness.
- Analyze player performance using video analysis and statistical tools to provide actionable feedback.
- Organize and lead practice matches tournaments and interteam competitions.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and fitness trainers to ensure optimal player health and injury prevention.
- Maintain discipline teamwork and a positive sporting environment both on and off the field.
- Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques rules and regulations of cricket.
- Prepare players for selection trials statelevel competitions and national tournaments.
Essential Qualifications
- Certified Cricket Coaching qualification (e.g. BCCI LevelC or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of cricket laws tactics and modern training methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor and motivate players of diverse backgrounds.
- Firstaid certification or basic knowledge of sports injury management.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 3years of coaching experience at school academy club or state level.
- Proven track record of developing players who have progressed to higher competitive levels.
- Experience conducting fitness and conditioning programs tailored for cricketers.
- Familiarity with video analysis software (e.g. Coachs Eye Dartfish) is a plus.
- Participation in cricket tournaments as a player or coach is highly desirable.
