As part of the Wealth Management Marketing organization the Digital Content Team leads digital content strategy across the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management business to deliver relevant and impactful content to clients and prospects across the FA-advised Workplace and Digital Direct (E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley) client segments. The Digital Content Team oversees content development and distribution and advises partners on all aspects of content strategy to drive business impact. To be effective we connect audience needs to our business priorities and deliver impactful content that inspires our audiences to take the intended action. We work across audiences (FA-advised self-directed workplace) content formats (article video audio infographic interactive) and promotional channels (web email social paid media) and rely on data-driven insights to deliver the right message to the right audience in the right format at the right time.
Job Description:
The Content Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Head of Content Operations as well as providing ad hoc support for others on the Wealth Management Digital Content Team. They will primarily focus on maintaining and updating a library of digital content for Wealth Management audiences on Morgan Stanleys public websites including and . Morgan Stanley Wealth Management uses content to educate advised self-directed and workplace audiences with the goals of building their
financial knowledge engaging them at key moments and connecting them to the right Morgan Stanley solutions based on their needs.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a junior-level operations coordinator with strong editing and project management skills to help manage the workflow involved in maintaining a fresh library of editorial content. The coordinator will:
- Traffic digital content assets through review approval and publishing processes utilizing the firms workflow and AI tools staying on top of next steps and deadlines including proactive outreach and follow-up with reviewers/SMEs to meet deadlines.
- Support editors to refresh existing content on Morgan Stanley sites that is outdated and/or no longer compliant. This will require proficiency in editing articles about personal finance and investing and an ability to tailor content to fit the Wealth Management brands and clients.
- Maintain editorial promotion and campaign calendars and trackers.
- Coordinate content intake review and publishing workflows for on an ongoing basis and for other Wealth Management sites ( on an ad hoc basis.
- Manage creative assets needed to promote content in owned digital channels such as web/mobile email and social media.
- Interface with internal AEO/SEO teams on content to ensure articles are optimized for agentic and traditional search.
- Distribute new and refreshed content to internal partners.
- Handle admin-style tasks that are part of the workflow such as opening tickets in operational tools like Workfront and RedOak and managing partner relationships within those platforms.
- Support ad hoc projects for the Content Team
- Strong end-to-end ownership and accountability for projects; able to take assignments from intake through publication and closeout with minimal oversight.
- Proactive communicator who independently engages SMEs/reviewers follows up consistently manages business partner relationships with enthusiasm and confidently drives decisions/approvals to closure.
- Strong editorial judgment and quality control; comfortable fact-checking validating figures/claims applying brand voice and ensuring content is publish-ready including researching appropriate sourcing/citations where required.
- Demonstrated deadline discipline; anticipates bottlenecks manages dependencies and communicates status/risks early to protect launch timelines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and operational hygiene; consistently produces final deliverables that are complete accurate and aligned to required workflow steps.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous and fast-moving environments; can prioritize quickly reset plans as inputs change and maintain quality under time pressure
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in digital media or working in the content function within world-class marketing organizations.
- Understanding of financial services products and the industry including Wealth Management businesses a plus.
- Resourceful self-motivated results-oriented problem-solver who is comfortable with new technologies and concepts and is a creative thinker.
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) search-engine optimization and digital content marketing best practices.
- Ability to work well with colleagues across a diverse range of working groups.
