Job Summary
Installing configuring managing and troubleshooting complex and large Citrix server sites.
2. Administration engineering and implementation of virtualization in the following areas: o Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop 7.15 LTSR and above
3. Storefront Provisioning Services Citrix Machine Creation Services Citrix ADC and Citrix ADM
4. Citrix License Server
5. Citrix WEM Service Microsoft technologies: Windows Server Windows 10 Office365 suite App-V 5.x Group Policy Active Directory Microsoft RDS Licensing.
6. Cloud technologies such as Citrix Cloud Microsoft Azure and setting up their integration with each other along with On-Prem (VMwareESXi).
7. Optimizing Citrix performance scalability security high-availability monitoring printing and connectivity. Managing Group Policy DNS and DHCP.
8. CitrixMicrosoft technologies such as Citrix FAS Citrix ADM (aka NMAS) Citrix ADC (including GSLB) Certificate authority (PKI) FSLogix Citrix App Layering.
9. Thin client technologies (IGEL HP Dell etc.) and their integration with virtualization platforms such as Citrix VMWare etc.
10. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in writing.
11. Ability to work professionally and productively with all encountered in the course of work including personnel supporting departments vendors and consultants. Excellent interpersonal skills.
12. Experience in global projects with expertise in following areas:
13. Windows 2019/2016/2008 Servers - commission recovery maintenance troubleshooting of OS and hardware issues decommission etc.
14. Good working knowledge of Active Directory DNS DHCP and WINS Maintenance troubleshooting and doing RCA of XenApp 6.x 7.x servers Migration of applications from legacy Citrix farms to XenApp 7.x 6.x servers farm
15. Maintenance troubleshooting and doing RCA of XenDesktop 6.x 7.x servers Maintenance and management of NetScaler Maintenance and management of WEM
16. ITIL Processes - Change Incident and Problem management Servers management using remote tools (ILO/DRAC/OpenManage) MS Patches deployment using WSUS or SCCM
17. Must have experience in creating and maintaining SOPs to run offshore operations
18. Experience in handling Escalated issues including coordination with multiple teams and vendor Problem Management & solving mindset
19. Soft Skills - Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) - Good documentation skills - Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)
20. Should have a great customer handling skills - Able to handle unforeseen situations - High level of acceptance
Good to have knowledge on: Cloud Infrastructure Design Patterns on Microsoft Azure. Designing and Implementing the Networking Data and Storage Compute Cloud Security Cloud Governance Infrastructure Monitoring and Operations. Hybrid Cloud Strategies and Architecture for Microsoft Azure. Automation and DevOps.
Candidate should be willing to work in a shift based 24*7 environment.
