CATIA Infrastructure & Operations Engineer

We are seeking a reliable and technically proficientInfrastructure & Operations Engineerto manage the maintenance operations and monitoring of3DEXPERIENCE (3DX)andCATIAenvironments. This role ensures high availability performance and security of PLM and CAD systems supporting engineering and product development teams.
Working Time - German CEST Time 24* 7 (on-call support)

Maintenance & Operations:

1. Performroutinemaintenance patching and upgrades of3DXandCATIAenvironments.

1. Ensuresystem uptime performance tuning and capacityplanning.

1. Manageuser provisioning license administration andaccess control.

1. Maintainenvironmentdocumentation SOPs and change logs.

Infrastructure Management:

1. Administer servers(Windows/Linux)databases(Oracle/SQL Server) and application servers (Tomcat/WebLogic) hosting 3DX/CATIA.

1. Collaboratewith IT and network teams to ensureinfrastructurescalabilitysecurity&licensing policies.

1. Supportbackup disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

1. Maintain and automate deployment scripts or tools for client installation and configuration (e.g. silent installs PowerShell).

Monitoring & Support:

1. Implement and manage monitoring tools (Nagios SCCOMZabbixSplunkDynatrace) for proactive issue detection.

1. Monitorsystem logs performance metrics and alerts to ensuresystem health.

1. Troubleshootand resolve infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.

1. ProvideL2/L3support for CATIA users and coordinate with Dassault Systèmessupportwhen needed.

1. Administer and monitor license servers analyze usage and forecast licensing needs.

Must have technical skill

1. Bachelors degreein information technology Computer Science or related field.

1. Hands-onexperiencewith3DEXPERIENCE platform and CATIA V5/V6.

1. Proficiencyinsystem administration(Windows/Linux) networking and database management.

1. Familiaritywith monitoring tools and ITSM platforms (e.g. ServiceNow BMC Remedy).

1. Familiarityin CATIA Data Migration between different releases / versions.

Good to have technical skills

1. Dassault Systèmescertificationsin CATIA or 3DEXPERIENCE.

1. Experiencewith virtualization (VMware)cloud platforms(AWS Azure) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).

1. Knowledgeof scripting (Shell PowerShell Python) for automation.

1. ITIL Foundation certification.

1. Support integrations between CATIA and other enterprise tools (e.g. PDM/PLM simulation tools).
