Job Summary

Seeking a contractor with strong hands-on C development experience to enhance and maintain reader/writer functionality for CAE/FEA solver interfaces. The ideal candidate should possess strong debugging problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance reader/writer code for CAE/FEA solver formats.

Debug troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.

Optimize code performance scalability and maintainability.

Develop and execute unit verification BVT and functional (FNC) tests to ensure software quality and reliability.

Investigate and resolve issues identified through automated and manual testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and validate solutions.

Document technical designs test results and implementation details.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Strong hands-on experience in C programming and software development best practices.

Experience developing and maintaining software components.

Strong debugging troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience with unit testing verification testing and code optimization.

Knowledge of at least one scripting language: Python Tcl or Shell.

Familiarity with Git version control systems and collaborative development practices.

Strong analytical logical reasoning communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience developing or enhancing reader/writer code for engineering or simulation applications.

Familiarity with CAE/FEA solvers such as OptiStruct Radioss LS-DYNA Abaqus ANSYS Nastran PAM-CRASH or similar technologies.

Experience with large-scale engineering software applications.

Exposure to software verification and validation processes.

Experience working with global or cross-functional development teams.
