Job Summary
About the role
You will join the QA team focused on testing and automating validation of the backend/API layer.
Responsibilities
- Python Automation - 5 to 7 yrs of experience with networking experience
- Pune location preferred with fallback on Bangalore
- Working with large enterprise experience
- Overlap in US working time
- Build and maintain Python-based automated tests targeting backend services and APIs
- Design and execute API-level test scenarios covering functional and edge cases
- Report and track defects collaborating with backend developers to clarify requirements
- Integrate backend test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Support cross-layer testing efforts alongside platform and UI engineers
Requirements
- Strong Python skills with API test automation experience
- General networking fundamentals (TCP/IP routing); SD-WAN exposure is a plus
- Comfortable working independently taking ownership of assigned test areas
- Mid-to-senior level experience in QA automation / SDET roles
Nice to have:
Cisco certifications: CCNA and CCNP
