Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in system design and engineering in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
Youll play a pivotal role in designing and formalizing system specifications ensuring their compliance with operational functional and constructional requirements. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Engineering Program Development and System Deployment & Integration) contribute to system design and specification and much more.
Youll specifically take care of analyzing input requirements performing conceptual designs and ensuring traceability in documentation but also support activities like material selection and procurement as needed for system delivery.
Well look to you for:
Collaborating with the System Architect to contribute to system/product design and specification
Analyzing clarifying and confirming input requirements
Conducting conceptual design studies and real-time analysis
Solving system interfaces and providing technical support to various teams (RAM safety cybersecurity etc.)
Elaborating formal modeling and maintaining system specifications
Coordinating with project/program team members to implement and revise designs
Supporting continuous improvement efforts through Return of Experience (REX) and process optimization
Promoting Alstoms Code of Ethics and upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct

Engineer Degree (Masters degree is desirable)
Certification in System Engineering (preferred)
Experience or understanding of development with real-time requirements
Knowledge of hardware and/or software development
Familiarity with system verification and validation (V&V)
Proficiency in Model-Based System Engineering
Ability to work transversally with diverse engineering teams
Strong English communication skills
