We are seeking an accomplished academic professional for the role of Associate Professor Computer Science. The role combines academic excellence teaching research curriculum development and contribution to the growth of Computer Science programmes.

The incumbent will contribute to high-quality academic delivery curriculum innovation and research development in Computer Science while supporting the development of a strong academic environment aligned with the global standards of the University of Liverpool.

The role demands a strong commitment to research-informed teaching interdisciplinary collaboration and the development of future-ready graduates equipped with advanced technical capabilities.

• Contribute to academic delivery and development of Computer Science programmes.

• Support the continuous development and enhancement of academic programmes in alignment with institutional goals.

• Lead and deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

• PhD in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Information Technology or a closely related discipline from a recognised or globally reputed university.

• Academic experience at Associate Professor level or equivalent.

• Strong teaching record in higher education.

• Eligibility or commitment to achieve HEA Fellowship or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and academic contribution.

• Proven record of excellence in teaching and research in Computer Science.

• Strong publication record in reputed journals and conferences.

• Experience in curriculum development and academic programme enhancement.

• Ability to integrate emerging industry trends into curriculum design.

• Experience in interdisciplinary teaching and research.
