Required
Full stack developer/AI Developer with experience of AI Coding
Able to work in a fast-paced front office environment and communicate directly with analysts and traders
Object orientated language C#/.NET or Python and TypeScript Node JS Database (SQL) Cloud dev (Azure) event driven process (Kafka) NoSQL
Front end experience React/Next JS.
Previous experience of writing code to ingest data via RESTFul APIs. Knowledge and experience of different authentication models. Web scraping.
In depth SQL/No SQL DB knowledge and performance optimization of these.
Knowledge of NoSQL systems
CI/CD and Test Automation in Github workflows.
Cloud services ideally Azure (Azure Functions Data Factory Data Lake Databricks)
Event-driven architecture with Kafka
Experience in App Sec understanding of SonarCube/SAST/Apiiro or similar.
Demonstrated capabilities of delivering high quality IT products.
Good relationship with business stakeholders and IT colleagues.
Experience providing guidance to other developers and IT specialists.
Able to articulate business needs into IT projects.
Nice to Have
Domain experience in Energy Markets (Power Gas Renewables) and working knowledge of data providers and data sources in that space
Knowledge of fundamental modelling of commodities energy (power gas environmental products).
Experience mentoring and developing others and providing technical leadership (establishing and enforcing standards)
Academic or mathematical confidence many of the customers and stakeholders youll be working with have highly academic backgrounds in maths physics or engineering. You should be engaging in conversations around complex systems and data expressed through highly abstracted mathematical and technical modelling.
