PURPOSEOFJOB
We are looking for a passionate Android Developer with 23 years of experience to join our mobile engineering team. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable Android applications and a good understanding of modern Android development practices.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain high-quality Android applications. Implement new features and improve existing functionality. Write clean maintainable and efficient code following Android best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product design and backend teams. Debug troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
23 years of experience in Android application development. Strong knowledge of Kotlin and working knowledge of Java. Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development. Understanding of Android application architecture patterns such as MVVM. Experience working with REST APIs and JSON-based services. Experience with Git-based version control workflows. Knowledge of Android SDK Android Studio and application lifecycle. Basic understanding of asynchronous programming using Kotlin Coroutines. Experience integrating third-party libraries and SDKs. Good to Have Experience inpayment domain fintech applications or POS-based applications. Knowledge of Android Jetpack components (ViewModel LiveData/Flow Navigation). Experience with networking libraries such as Retrofit/OkHttp. Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger. Experience with debugging performance optimization and crash monitoring tools. Basic knowledge of mobile app security best practices. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Good communication and documentation skills. Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
