Job Summary


Role Overview
The role is accountable for the administration advisory and delivery of employee centric HR services to Chubb employees through GCC People Services team within India. Acting as the subject matter expert and 1st point of contact for all customers including employees managers business Unit HR as well as external bodies.
Directly Reporting into the Senior Manager People Services you will work proactively within the Chubb HR team to support the HR team in its daily operations. This includes administrative tasks recruitment assistance employee onboarding & hire to retire life cycle transactions/activities and assisting with various HR processes/reports
You will provide administrative and logistical support to HR Finance Payroll and other functions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The People Operations Analyst/Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality accurate and timely support to the UK COE & HR Services team. This role will serve as a key point of contact for employee and manager queries support HR transactions and assist with the execution of end-to-end HR processes aligned with UK employment regulations and business practices.
Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related queries from UK employees HRBPs managers & stakeholders via ticketing system email chat or calls for all process queries along with escalating and taking ownership & accountability to ensure any requests or escalated queries are resolved in a timely manner and a satisfactory outcome is reached
Provide a customer centric HR advisory administrative and query or case management service to all employees within the country/region ensuring all your assigned SLAs/KPIs within HRSS (via ServiceNow email) are consistently met.
Perform transactions in HR systems (e.g. Workday) for areas such as onboarding employee data changes offboarding compensation updates and leave management.
Support the administration of UK-specific HR programs including employee data changes/corrections benefits payroll coordination and statutory documentation.
Accurately follow HR processes and procedures including but not exclusive to security screening offers of employment change in employment status and terminations.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with GDPR and UK employment legislation.
Assist with the generation of standard HR letters reports and documentation required by the business or for compliance purposes.
Collaborate with Payroll Talent Acquisition Learning and other teams to ensure smooth delivery of employee lifecycle services.
Escalate complex or policy-related cases to appropriate COE HR partners.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK HR policies Create & maintain up-to-date process documentation SOPs Process Maps and support process improvement initiatives.
Support your people services colleagues ensuring knowledge and best practice is shared between the team and cross-skilling is achieved where possible
Be a source of expert knowledge for all relevant people services processes within APAC (Australia New Zealand Hong Kong China Macau Singapore and India)
Play a vital role in the Global People Services journey and where required be willing to become involved in global activities/projects
Work collaboratively with the regional (APAC) People Services colleagues and leadership team (including the country CoE Tier 2 Teams) to ensure that our customer queries are resolved in a timely and professional manner
Identify and recommend opportunities for service enhancements or potential activities to bring into the People Services function within the scope to continue to maximize value to the business
Understand and be compliant with the corporate and local country data protection and confidentiality policies across the full region
Represent the People Services function on relevant internal meetings work groups etc as requested
Manage and maintain accurate employee and HR records (electronic & paper based) in line with Data Protection legislation
Support the People Services Senior Manager in ensuring that all work-related instructions processes and standard operating procedures are kept up-to date and reviewed timely within the People Services function
Represent the company by giving a favorable impression of the brand by always acting with integrity ethics and honesty
Perform any other duties deemed reasonable and necessary by the business and People Services. To carry out and undertake any relevant training deemed necessary.
Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
Be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
Complete quarterly ethics module as advised by Ethics & Compliance Officer (ECO)
Complete quarterly ethics module as advised by ECO.
Years of experience
4 to 5 years of experience in UK&I countries end to end people services processes.

Educational Qualification
Bachelors degree required
Required Skill Set:
Mandatory
Familiarity with UK HR practices employment laws or experience supporting UK geography is highly preferred.
Proficient in using HR systems (e.g. Workday SAP ServiceNow telephony (8x8) electronic document management systems Mydocs/Docusign) along with competence in usage of Excel Word Outlook Teams Internet and Intranet.
Prior experience in a Global Capability Center (GCC) or multinational HR services team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data confidentiality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced service-oriented environment with a people-first mindset.
An expert knowledge of processes procedures and company policies relevant to the role
High degree of integrity and confidentiality
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written in English)
Duties may require periodic non-standard hours to support peopleservices production (UK Shift)
Experience handling UK-specific HR documents (e.g. P45 employment contracts right-to-work checks) understanding of SOX and GDPR.
