Full-Time Core Team
LAT Aerospace Civil
LAT Aerospace is developing next-generation aerospace systems from first principles. This includes a hybrid electric aircraft that takes off and lands within a space of a parking lot Defence systems built from ground up and scalable Gas Turbine Engines.
Were looking for an Aerodynamics Engineer to design and analyze aerodynamic surfaces across low-fidelity and high-fidelity tools contribute to aircraft loads performance and stability databases and help build the aero modeling pipeline that powers design decisions and flight simulation.
What youll do
Design and iterate aerodynamic surfaces and OMLs using CAD.
Own the CFD workflow including geometry generation meshing solving automation and post-processing.
Develop and maintain aerodynamic databases for aircraft performance loads and stability.
Process computational and experimental data to develop surrogate models for aircraft design and flight dynamics.
Support aerodynamic analysis of high-lift blown-wing and propulsionairframe interactions.
Develop and improve internal aerodynamic tools scripts and workflows.
Document analyses and maintain robust version-controlled aerodynamic datasets.
What were looking for
4 years of professional experience in external steady and unsteady aerodynamics simulations
Strong fundamentals in aerodynamics aircraft performance and stability & control.
Software agnostic in low fidelity and high fidelity simulations
Strong Python/MATLAB skills for CFD automation data processing and engineering analysis.
Experience building and working with aerodynamic databases and large datasets.
Experience with high-lift blown-wing UAV or other unconventional aircraft aerodynamics is highly preferred.
Why LAT
No hierarchy beyond strength of ideas.
Rapid hardware iteration culture.
Own the complete journey from engineering design to flight-ready hardware.
