Job Summary
We are looking for a Software Developer / Network Engineer to support our team in the automation and testing of Cisco SD-WAN based network technologies. Specifically we are working with Cisco NSO.
The role combines software development test automation and networking knowledge.
Daily work includes using Jira for task tracking MS Teams for communication and Python with Robot Framework for developing and maintaining automated test cases.
Experience with NETCONF YANG data models and network automation is highly relevant.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of network technologies especially OSI Layer 2 and Layer 3 concepts and should be comfortable working in an automation-driven engineering environment.
Qualifications :
Key expectations:
Experience in software development preferably with Python
Knowledge of Robot Framework or willingness to work with test automation frameworks
Understanding of NETCONF and YANG structures
Basic to solid knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN technologies
Good understanding of OSI Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts
Experience with Jira and MS Teams in daily project work
Strong communication skills in English; German is optional
Structured reliable and collaborative working style
Interest in combining network engineering with software automation
Preferred language: English German possible
