Working Student Intern (mfd) in Process Development for MEFA Components

The team R&D and PD MEFA is responsible for the end to end process of the Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA/MEFA): material specifications component geometry manufacturing process development and validation of experimental principle components.

Responsibilities:
Support the commissioning and recommissioning of process development equipment including coordination with suppliers and service partners.
Aid the creation of operating instructions work instructions and risk assessments.
Assist in the setup commissioning and execution of experiments on our modular test platform for UV based adhesive activation and subsequent joining of fuel cell materials.
Identify suitable process parameters (e.g. punching inkjet adhesive printing UV intensity).
Support the parameterization of a state of the art AI based inline vision system (matrix camera intelligent illumination).
Collaborate closely with development and production teams to translate experimental findings into process knowledge.

Required Skills/Experience:
Current studies in engineering or natural sciences (e.g. mechanical engineering process engineering materials science mechatronics).
Confident use of MS Office.
Ideally first experience with laboratory equipment automation or experimental setups.
Independent structured and analytical working style.
Good German and English skills.

Additional information:

Proof of current enrollment in a degree program with outstanding exams is required.

The position is available on a part-time (minimum 15 hours per week) or full-time basis for approximately 6 months.
