Program Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Position Summary:
The innovation excellence engineering working student provides foundational support in the development testing and lifecycle management of Impella Pumps Accessories and related technologies. This role offers an opportunity to learn and contribute to product design validation and continuous improvement while gaining valuable experience in a regulated MedTech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Lifecycle & Sustaining Engineering
Provide documentation support by creating and maintaining article specifications work instructions and related technical documentation.
Help with operational activities related to product issues field feedback and escalation investigations with a focus on analyzing existing systems and identifying potential design process and documentation gaps.
Assist in executing basic design testing and validation activities under supervision.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with senior engineers R&D manufacturing and quality teams to support project tasks.
Assist in gathering and organizing technical data and documents needed for projects and audits.
Support technical reviews and updates on product features.
What youll bring:
Currently enrolled Bachelors or Masters student in Mechanical Engineering Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
Fluent in English and German
Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in a regulated product environment.
Good communication teamwork and problem-solving skills.
A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks
Interest in medical technology and healthcare innovation
