V.I.E Software Simulation Engineer (MF)

• develop and adapt software models (C/C <14) for satellite simulator or other aerospace simulations
• understand the systems modelling of a satellite or other aerospace platforms and its breakdown into subsystem and components both on a functional and technical of the functional and technical level
• are familiar with modelling approaches such as Simulink Cameo or similar to analyse the system functions and building blocks
• perform integration verification and validation activities (e.g. SIL) on system level and component level
• support debugging root cause analysis and optimization in a Linux-based environment
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across system engineering software and testing

Qualifications :

• a degree in aerospace engineering computer science or a comparable technical field
• eligible to the V.I.E contract
• solid programming skills in C/C and Java
• system modelling understanding (System of Systems)
• hands-on experience with Linux environments
• experience with simulation environments test benches or SIL/HIL setups
• familiarity with avionics onboard software or satellite systems
• strong analytical skills to understand complex systems and interfaces
• very good English skills
