V.I.E Devops engineer (MF)

As a DevOps Engineer in Aerospace & Space you will play a critical role in bridging development and operations to ensure seamless integration deployment and maintenance of software systems for aerospace applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development:

  • Designing implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for aerospace software projects.

  • Automating build test and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable delivery.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure using Terraform Ansible or Kubernetes.

  • Ensuring scalability security and compliance with aerospace industry standards.

• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Working closely with software developers system engineers and IT teams to align DevOps practices with project goals.

  • Supporting agile methodologies to enhance productivity and innovation.

• Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Implementing monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana) to track system performance and reliability.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues in real time.

• Security and Compliance:

  • Ensuring secure coding practices and compliance with aerospace cybersecurity standards.

  • Conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions).
• Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python Bash PowerShell).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and IaC tools (Terraform Ansible).
• Experience in aerospace defense or space industries is a strong plus.
• Understanding of IT security standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)
