Talent Management Specialist, Origination

Working inTrading & Origination 

Trading & Origination is Statkrafts central commercial unit for proprietary trading of standard and origination of non-standard energy related products and assumes the role of a market integrator for third party renewable and flexible assets encompassing the supply of power and green solutions to customers in Europe and in the US.

We look for an experienced Talent Management Specialist with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions. These include:  

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Source and hire for trading and origination roles across all Origination teams at Statkraft
• Run recruitment and selection end to end in line with Statkrafts hiring principles tuned to the pace and precision Origination desks expect
• Work in the Applicant Tracking System and keep pushing for better ways to run the process for a business where timing and talent scarcity both matter
• Build and manage direct candidate pools for hard-to-fill specialist roles keeping niche talent warm for the next opening
• Act as a consultative partner to Origination hiring managers proactively bringing market intelligence competitor benchmarking and local talent insight to every hiring assessment and decision
• Drive Originations teams Talent Management activities beyond hiring
• Contribute in work within the team and with the communication function in Statkraft to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges (internally/externally)
• Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities

Qualifications :

• Hands-on recruitment experience ideally including trading origination or other high-demand specialist talent role within European financial markets is a must
• Comfortable partnering with senior leaders and HR colleagues to achieve business goals while keeping appropriate hiring practices maintained
• Experience recruiting internally and externally within energy and renewables; exposure to trading origination or quantitative/technical talent is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (SmartRecruiters/Greenhouse)
• Proven ability to autonomously build and maintain successful direct hiring pipelines
• A track record of building strong lasting relationships with the business
• An enthusiastic team player who adds to a good working environment
• A problem-solving mindset with a desire to grow these skills
• Willingness to travel sporadically across European offices
• Fluency in English and German is a must
