Special Security Representative
Job Summary
The Opportunity:
As a CACI Special Security Representative (SSR) you will be a member of a team providing Expert Security advice advising on complex projects within Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAF) Special Operations Task Force (SOTF) to critical infrastructure locations and assets. The SSR position is expected to possess skilled knowledge of the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Program. The position shall support the SOCAF SSR in the accomplishment of tasks directly associated with developing advising and maintaining SCI policies and procedures.
Important factors to keep in mind for the position:
Candidate selected for role will be Unaccompanied.
Contract/Program full-time work duration remaining on contract is until 31st March 2027.
Responsibilities:
Under government supervision manage all facets of SOCAFRICAs SCI access program by maintaining personnel records DISS subject reports for assigned staff and security-related indoctrination and training programs.
Maintain SOCAFRICA temporary and permanent SCIF locations throughout Africa.
Maintain Special Security Programs for SOCAF HQ and subordinate units.
Collect unofficial and official foreign travel requests and conduct associated debriefs.
Collect foreign contact information activities.
Facilitate T5 and T5R investigations.
Coordinate monthly random inspections of SOCAF SCIFs.
Coordinate semi-annual Alamar tests at SOCAF SCIFs.
Coordinate maintenance requests for SOCAF SCIF alarm and access systems.
Advise SOCAF J2 chain of command on SCI personnel facilities and related topics.
Implement policies procedures standards training and methods for identifying and protecting information personnel property facilities operations or material from unauthorized disclosure misuse theft assault vandalism espionage sabotage or loss.
Evaluate maintain and/or operate policies devices procedures and methods used for safeguarding information property personnel operations and materials.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character background and history of employees candidates for employment and other persons having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information materials or work sites.
Conduct security inspections and site security visits; develop findings and recommendations for changes or modifications to correct or improve special security.
Assist in developing local security guidelines.
Assist in tracking official and nonofficial security taskers.
Assist responsible badging custodian with the accounting of access cards and badges.
Assist in screening and verifying employees authorized access.
Conduct checks on issued badges to ensure proper recovery and destruction and determine expiration surrender or extension requirements.
Provide physical security and access control technical guidance for collateral and SCI facilities
Qualifications:
Required:
Masters degree and 3 years of experience or Bachelors degree and six years of experience or Associates degree and seven years of experience or ten years of relevant work experience.
Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
Experience facilitating conferences meetings and working groups.
Experience gathering preparing editing organizing establishing managing safeguarding and/or preparing accurate and up-to-date information.
Knowledge of security policies and procedures including the National Industrial Security Program
Supplement and DoD 5105.21 volumes 1-3.
Experience with planning or accrediting facilities in accordance with the ICD 705 standard.
Desired:
More than Five years as a SSR Administrator.
More than Five years of operations-intelligence and or security assessment support and analysis experience within the DoD or IC.
More than five years of military experience and/or a combination of military and IC Agency experience.

Pay Range:
