As a Software Development Expert for Requirement Analyses & Architecture Design you define analyze and manage software requirements for our embedded automotive systems. You define software requirements based on system-level specifications and develop architectural concepts that serve as the basis for functional safety and cybersecurity analyses and collaborate closely with customers software developers system architects and cross-functional engineering teams.
Completed studies in Computer Science Software Engineering Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
Several years of experience in software development for embedded systems
Good understanding of embedded software development processes and methods
Knowledge of software architecture principles and embedded software design
Experience with requirements management tools such as Polarion IBM DOORS or equivalent
Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety concepts Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) and preferably AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive Platform)
Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Git or Subversion
Hands-on expertise in conducting technical architecture and requirements reviews
Experience with UML and/or SysML modeling and Enterprise Architect or comparable modeling tools
Strong analytical thinking and a structured solution-oriented working style
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
Fluent in German and English
Elicit analyze document and maintain requirements for embedded software systems
Collaborate with customers system engineers software developers and project stakeholders to define software requirements
Translate system requirements into detailed software requirements and ensure their consistency and completeness
Contribute to the definition and evaluation of software architectures for embedded applications
Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements software architecture implementation and verification
Work on architecture design concepts and requirements elicitation
Support the development of safety-related software in accordance with ISO 26262 and consideration of Cyber Security according to ISO/SAE 21434
Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of development processes compliant with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
Work closely with software developers test engineers system architects and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle and guide them based on your expertise
