Job Summary
Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3. This position is located in Stuttgart Germany and requires TESA approval.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM its Component Commands its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration change license and asset management; conduct training and perform Install Move Add Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM the CIO/J6 organization and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Systems Administrators perform Tier I and Tier II support for enterprise systems applications and network services in accordance with the SIE OPORD. They provide administration maintenance and troubleshooting support across multiple security enclaves and classification domains including but not limited to NIPRNet SIPRNet NSANet Coalition networks Classified Solutions for Commercial (CSfC) and mission-specific systems. Systems Administrators monitor and maintain server infrastructure endpoint devices operating systems and enterprise applications to ensure availability security and compliance with USSOCOM and DoD standards.
This position studies program operating instructions to ensure proper configuration and effective operations. Systems Administrators continuously observe the operation of assigned applications systems and storage devices to prevent hardware or software failures. They manipulate systems in accordance with standard procedures to maintain operations when individual components malfunction. Systems Administrators confer with senior administrators systems engineers applications engineers network engineers and cybersecurity personnel to resolve issues requiring changes to procedures configurations or operational sequences. Systems Administrators maintain operating records such as machine performance metrics outage reports maintenance activities and production reports.
Systems Administrators provide technical operational and administrative support for assets employed at approved global locations and assist with the development and implementation of policies procedures and technical standards. They must possess strong analytical troubleshooting customer service and communication skills in addition to in-depth technical knowledge of Government hardware software and enterprise systems.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Member of the SOCEUR Client Services Team.
- Provide desktop and end-user support including but not limited to account creation password resets hardware and software installation printer support token issuance cable installation and troubleshooting.
- Provide system administration and end-user support across multiple security enclaves and classification domains including NIPRNet SIPRNet SOCRATES CSfC and other mission partner environments.
- Support user account management access control and troubleshooting activities in accordance with enclave-specific security requirements and accreditation standards.
- Maintain collaboration and productivity tools in accordance with USSOCOM standards.
- Install configure patch and upgrade operating systems applications and enterprise software.
- Analyze troubleshoot and resolve system hardware software and networking issues.
- Configure optimize fine-tune and monitor operating systems applications and hardware platforms.
- Perform system backups recovery operations and data restoration activities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot workstation server virtual and cloud-hosted systems supporting multiple classification levels.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system administration activities including physical virtual and cloud-hosted environments.
- Provide Systems Administrator support for systems hosting operational databases software configuration control processes and system interfaces.
- Maintain file servers storage systems and network access permissions.
- Troubleshoot and document system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance and operational availability.
- Troubleshooting and supporting mobile devices Classified Solutions for Commercial (CSfC) solutions secure communications platforms and endpoint devices operating across multiple security enclaves and classification levels.
- Coordinate with network cybersecurity and enterprise service teams to resolve cross-domain and multi-enclave system issues.
- Support system accreditation compliance vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity initiatives across supported enclaves.
- Provide operational support for mission systems collaboration services and communications capabilities utilized across multiple security domains.
- Execute additional IT support duties as directed by SOCEUR Client Services leadership to support mission requirements service delivery objectives customer needs and operational priorities across all supported locations and security domains.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years with AS/AA; 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- 11 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education to meet TESA requirements
- DoD TS/SCI clearance is required for this role
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification
- Must meet TESA requirements
Highly desired qualifications:
- Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 451 System Administrator -Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 26
