Senior Software Engineer

heimsoft is developing innovative software solutions that redefine the home experience. As we expand our offerings and scale our platforms we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Berlin and contribute to the core of our product development.

You will be instrumental in designing developing and deploying robust and scalable software systems. This involves:

• Leading the implementation of new features and services from concept to production.

• Collaborating with product managers and other engineers to define technical requirements and architectural solutions.

• Writing clean efficient and well-documented code adhering to best practices and engineering standards.

• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.

• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing existing systems for performance and reliability.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who can take ownership and drive technical initiatives. Your profile should include:

• Proven experience in software development with a focus on building and maintaining complex applications.

• Strong command of modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to backend or full-stack development.

• Expertise in designing scalable architectures and working with distributed systems.

• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.

The salary range for this position is EUR per year.

Within your first few months you will have integrated into the team taken ownership of key modules and contributed to the successful launch of a new feature. You will have influenced architectural decisions and started mentoring a junior team member solidifying your role as a technical leader.
