Job Summary
- Develop applications/capabilities based on given requirements
- Implementation of scalable software solutions based on Java/JEE for government customers
- Evaluate business requirements to create feedback and effort estimations
- Design code test debug and document programs using agile development practices
- desirable project and customer support on site by business travelling worldwide
- Successfully completed BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
- At least 5 years of experience in software development using Java/JEE in a comparable position and in the development of distributed software systems web-based applications
- Strong skills in Java/JEE
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize work meet deadlines achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- React and JSF desirable
- Desirable Java certifications: Oracle Certified Master (Java SE Developer Java EE Enterprise Architect) Oracle Certified Expert (Enterprise JavaBeans Developer Web Services Developer) Oracle Certified Professional (Java SE Programmer)
- Desirable: Experience with RedHat Wildfly/EAP Maven Jenkins Nexus Eclipse; Interest in AI and/or biometrics; experience with DevOps
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- German language desirable
