Robotics Software Integration Engineer (mfd)

Tasks

• Track the entire PR lifecycle collaborate closely with contributors monitor review statuses and manage merge queues to keep our integration pipeline moving fast
• Conduct technical PR reviews for critical code touching sensor interfaces robotics pipelines ROS2 packages and middleware-related integrations
• Maintain branching strategy compliance oversee issue tracking handle tagging lead release preparation and champion ultimate repository hygiene
• Monitor and maintain our build pipelines troubleshoot failures coordinate quick fixes and support our Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure
• Proactively identify interface mismatches untangle dependency issues and eliminate integration blockers across multi-functional teams
• Apply your understanding of hardware-facing software communication stacks and deployment constraints to streamline reviews and coordination

Requirements

• . or . in Robotics Computer Science Embedded Systems Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• At least 4 years of professional experience in robotics software system integration or embedded software environments
• Solid development skills in C within Linux environments (exposure to C or scripting languages is a great bonus)
• Practical hands-on experience with the ROS2 ecosystem and robotics software integration workflows
• Deep familiarity with Git-based development advanced PR review processes CI/CD workflows Docker and automated build systems
• A strong understanding of sensor integration middleware concepts distributed software systems and standard robotics pipelines (perception localization control interfaces).

Nice to have:

• Understanding of communication protocols (CAN Ethernet TCP/IP SPI I2C UART)
• Prior exposure to Embedded systems or RTOS
• Experience navigating and aligning goals within multi-team or cross-functional environments
