Your area of work
Deutsche Börses Market Data Services (MDS) business supports capital market participants in their digital transformation. It provides Data Services to members of the financial community worldwide. MDS is the home of all relevant data from Deutsche Börses trading platforms like Xetra or Eurex as well as renowned index-brands DAX and STOXX. The Data Services department develops maintains and markets all of Deutsche Börses data amongst them the proprietary market data of Deutsche Börse and its cooperation addition we provide a leading set of analytics and sophisticated metrics for both investment and trading strategies applying modern statistical methods big data analytics and machine learning. Our clients are the leading financial organizations worldwide amongst them the leading investment banks hedge funds and specialist providers of financial information.
The Quantitative Analytics team is responsible for Deutsche Börses suite of analytics products such as the Eurex & Xetra HHI Flows and Open Interest as well as the A7 Analytics Platform. As quantitative developer (f/m/d) you will be responsible for integrating additional proprietary data sources into the A7 analytics platforms C backend. To maximize collaboration within the team this role requires at least three day per week on site in Deutsche Börses headquarter in Eschborn.
Your responsibilities
- We have all the data you bring the ideas skills and initiative to use it to increase trust in and transparency & efficiency of our markets.
- Integrate new data sources develop new features design new APIs improve usability performance and reliability of the A7 analytics platform.
- Support A7 customers with their research and use cases.
- Build secure data pipelines between Deutsche Börses internal data sources and A7.
Your profile
- You have completed your university degree in a STEM field.
- You have 1-3 years of experience working with legacy C (98-23) codebases in an enterprise setting.
- You have experience with market data; ideally (real-time) level-3 order book data.
- You are familiar with setting up data pipelines in the cloud (GCP k8s docker).
- You are familiar with the following common tools: git JIRA github cmake.
- Linux (RH) platform.
- Desirable: python SQL TypeScript.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
