Job Summary
Ocean DataPlatform(ODP) and the Ocean Data Processing Engine (ODPE) togetheran Ocean Data Warehousethatletsmaritimedefenceandpublic-sectororganisationsmanage andprocessgeospatialandsensordataatscale.
Theprojectsthatdeliverthesesystemstocustomersaregettinglarger. Softwarehardwareandcustomeroperationsarrivein the same plan andthatplanhasto androllingoutonedeliveryprocessacrossallcustomerprojectsdefinedphasesdefineddecisionpointsdefinedartefacts.
AsProject Manager (F/M/D)youtakeonecustomerprojectathandoverand carry it ityousteerit andyouarethepersonthecustomercallswhensomethingmoves.
Reportingline:Youreportto the Chief Project Management Officer (CPMO).
Location:Kiel. Hybridworkingwithcustomervisitsas theprojectrequires.
KeyResponsibilities
- TakeoveracustomerprojectathandoverfromSales andrunitthroughto finalacceptanceandtransitionintooperations.
- Buildaprojectplanthatreflectsrealityscheduleresources budget andkeepitcurrentwhenrealitychanges.

- Prepareandrunthedecisionpointsofyourproject:handover .
- Manage changeorders. Additionalworkhappenson thebasisof anorder not ongoodwill.
- Escalateearly. Ariskyoureportthreeweeksbeforeitlandsisadecision; the sameriskon thedayitlandsisdamage.
- Keepprojectdataaccuratestatuseffortforecast. Thisdatafeedsourweeklydeliveryreportingand themonthlyreportto .
- Be the operationalcounterpartforyourcustomersprojectmanagementincludingin theconversationsnobodyenjoys.

Qualifications& Experience
- Youhavecarriedresponsibilityforprojectswithexternalcustomers notsupportedthemcarriedthem.
- Youcanbuildaprojectplanthatsurvivescontactwitha realproject andyoukeepitcurrentagainstresistance.
- Youseethecommercialconsequence:whatadelaycostswhatascopeincreasecosts whopaysfor it.
- Youwriteclearly. Adecisionthatisnotdocumenteddidnot happen.
- German and English; a largepartofourcustomersdo not.
- A security clearance (Sicherheitsüberprüfung nach SÜG) may be required for this position and therefore your eligibility is a key criteria.
