Operational Purchaser (mfd)

• Independently manage an international supplier and product portfolio in operational purchasing and materials management with responsibility for product availability inventory levels and ordering performance
• Analyse and process MRP proposals demand backlogs and critical supply situations
• Process purchase orders including delivery schedule management and escalations
• Optimise purchasing and material master data MRP parameters and ordering strategies in the ERP system
• Implement improvement initiatives in collaboration with Sales Product Management Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations

Qualifications :

• Completed vocational training in a commercial or technical field; further qualifications are an advantage
• At least five years experience in international purchasing and materials management ideally as a Senior Buyer or with independent responsibility for a portfolio
• Sound knowledge of materials management MRP and materials planning together with proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) SAP and MS Office
• Fluent German and English both written and spoken; Italian is an advantage
• A high degree of autonomy initiative and accountability combined with an analytical and solution-oriented approach
