To end COPV failure in spaceflight. Every great product starts with a manufacturing process that is reliable scalable and continuously improving. Your mission is to take our liner production to the next level.
THE WHAT
You develop and optimise manufacturing processes for our metal liners. From scaling production and increasing automation to improving quality and efficiency you turn manufacturing challenges into production-ready solutions.
You ensure:
- Liner production becomes more scalable automated and efficient.
- Manufacturing processes are continuously improved.
- New products are transferred into production quickly and reliably.

YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Production Engineering Materials Engineering ora related field.
- Experience in manufacturing production or process engineering with a strong interest in metal processing.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Experience in research& developmentand transferring new processes into production.
- Independent self-driven and motivated by improving manufacturing rather than purely product design.
- High-quality standards structured working style and the ability to perform under time pressure.
- English (B2/C1 minimum); German is an advantage.
- Full-time 100% on-site inGarchingwith willingness to support shift operations if.
- Metal processing experience.
- Welding experience.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Quality Management experience.

Blackwave designs manufactures and ships flight-qualified commercial off-the-shelf composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPVs) for launch vehicles and satellites.
