As a Maintenance Engineer at Tetra Pak youll take on more responsibility in maintaining and troubleshooting Tetra Pak equipment. Youll work closely with customers and internal teams gaining valuable experience while helping ensure food safety and operational excellence.

As a part of our Customer Service Operations team you will be first in the field to maintain food processing and packaging equipment at our customers facilities. As someone who prides themselves on getting to the root of the problem youll be part of the mission to keep food production going for hundreds of millions of people in more than 160 countries. Our equipment is a crucial part of the food processing and packaging industry. Thats why keeping it maintained to its optimum performance is a huge priority not only for us but for our customers and the communities they serve.

This role is based in Germany and belongs to Tetra Pak Processing GmbH. As this is a customer-facing position the successful candidate should be based in the midwestern part of the country.

• Travel to customer sites mostly in Germany occasionally in Switzerland and Austria
• Execute preventive maintenance and troubleshooting tasks of moderate complexity
• Use Tetra Pak Maintenance System (TPMS) tools to report and document service activities
• Interpret technical documentation and follow global procedures
• Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas for improving customer operations and service delivery
  Maintain a clean safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team

• A qualified technical education (e.g. Industrial Mechanic Mechatronics Technician or similar)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or installation work
• Knowledge of ice cream techniques and technology as well as dairy technology would be an advantage
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time
• Advanced German language skills and basic English skills (written and verbal)
