Lead Implementation & Delivery (fmd)
Düsseldorf - Germany
Job Summary
Were looking for an experienced implementation delivery or technical operations lead to own delivery after a contract is signed and to play a central role in working out what actually makes our product work for customers.
This one is for you if:
- Youd rather build the playbook than wait for one to exist
- You get real satisfaction from being the person people can count on customers and colleagues alike
- Making a genuinely complex technical product work in the real world on a factory floor and not just a slide deck sounds like a good problem to have
Every factory should be as easy to redesign as a CAD file. RIIICO scans real production floors and turns the raw point cloud into a structured living model of the plant machines robots and infrastructure recognised by AI matched to CAD usable directly in the engineering tools our customers already run. Line changes that used to take months of manual work now take days.
Were seed-funded backed by Earlybird PiLabs and seed speed with angels including Joe Kaeser former CEO of Siemens.
Team: two application engineers report to you directly and you steer our data delivery team which has its own manager and five people.
Start: as soon as you can.
Youll own the entire post-sale delivery from signed deal to a customer whos live confident and getting real value. Our customers are enterprise manufacturers so the accounts you own are complex and technically demanding from day one. As an early hire theres no existing playbook expect to blend hands-on implementation delivery operations and testing product-market-fit hypotheses directly with customers.
- Own the post-sale journey from handover through to stable value-delivering adoption
- Build the adoption framework for enterprise accounts and define what first value means
- Keep a current view of every account: check-ins early risk signals retention plans
- Handle escalations yourself at both operational and management level
- Own the Sales-to-delivery handover and keep capacity visible and realistic
- Develop the lightweight processes that make delivery repeatable as patterns emerge
- Lead and develop your team and shape how Delivery is structured as we grow
- Test the product-market-fit hypotheses Sales brings back and feed findings into Product and Go-To-Market
What this looks like in your first six months:
- Months 12 run two live enterprise implementations yourself end to end so you know where the product and the process actually break
- Months 23 take over the Sales-to-delivery handover and make capacity visible enough that Sales doesnt promise what delivery cant back up
- Months 34 define what first value means for an enterprise account and the timeframe we hold ourselves to
- Months 46 turn what youve learned into the first delivery playbook and bring at least two validated product-market-fit findings back to Product and Sales
- 46 years in technical implementation delivery project lead or technical operations roles at a B2B company serving manufacturing or industrial customers
- Experience as an early hire building implementation or delivery processes from scratch in a startup or scale-up
- Experience owning the interface between Sales and a technical delivery team: handover capacity oversight and escalations you resolved independently
- Enough technical depth to get fluent fast in discrete manufacturing factory planning or industrial automation. You dont need to have done this exact thing before but you do need to hold a credible conversation with a manufacturing engineer within a few months
- Fluent written and spoken German and English. We work in English internally; customer work happens in German
Youre eligible to work in Germany EU/EEA citizenship or an existing work or residence permit. We arent able to sponsor visas for this role.
Youll fit if:
- Youre decisive and comfortable holding your ground when Sales pushes on scope or timeline and just as good at negotiating a pragmatic trade-off without compromising commitments already made
- Youre pragmatic and action-first: you build the process as the pattern emerges rather than designing the system before you understand the reality
- You have commercial instinct: you notice whats working and bring it to Sales as an expansion opportunity
- Youre a fast learner with strong situational awareness equally comfortable on a shop floor and in front of a senior stakeholder
- Real ESOP actual shares not virtual ones
- 30 days holiday
- Deutschlandticket
- Based in our Düsseldorf office with the flexibility to work from home
- Regular customer site visits a genuine mix of factory floor and desk not travel every week
- Real ownership from day one with a direct line to founders and leadership on decisions that matter
- The chance to define what this function becomes as we grow
- A diverse international team
Apply with your CV no cover letter needed.
How the process runs:
- Short intro call 30 minutes
- Written questions by email about 20 minutes of your time
- Deep-dive with Felix and the delivery team 60 minutes
- Meet the team then offer
The written questions are how we get to know how you think before anyone sits in a room. Theyre the reason we dont ask for a cover letter.
We are an employer that actively lives equal opportunity. Were committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. It doesnt matter where youre from what religion you belong to your gender who you love how old you are or whether you live with a disability youre welcome here.
