As anInstallation Engineer- GraduateProgram you are part of theField Service Operations (FSO) Customer EngineerTeam and you will play a key role in bringingcutting-edgesemiconductor equipment online at some of the worlds most advanced manufacturing facilities. Working alongside experienced Customer Engineersyoullgain hands-on exposure to complex technologies solve challenging technical problems and directlyimpactcustomer success.

We empower our Installation Engineer - Graduate Program through comprehensive on-the-job training and the use of advanced digital tools and immersive technology including Augmented Reality (AR) to support the systems and processes that underpin everyday semiconductor chip production.

Travel: Up to 75% to Customer sitesacross the region

What Youll Do

• Partner with Senior Customer Engineers to install commissionmaintain and upgrade Applied Materials equipment at customer sites.

• Support equipment startup and acceptance activities to ensure successful deployment and operational readiness.

• Utilize digital diagnostic tools equipment analytics and troubleshooting methodologies toidentifyand resolve technical issues.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced electrical vacuum mechanical plasma hydraulic and gas delivery systems.

• Diagnose equipment performance issues and implement solutions with support from senior team members and technical experts.

• Build strong relationships with customers through professional communication and technicalexpertise.

• Maintain compliance with all safety quality and operational procedures while working in customer manufacturing environments.

• Document maintenance activities service reports and technical findings accurately and professionally.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other business needs as.

Prior semiconductor experience is beneficial but notfor candidates with strong technical aptitude and relevant industry experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• You hold or are on track to complete a relevantbachelors or mastersdegree (graduated in 2025 or graduating in 2026)inElectrical engineering /Mechanical engineering/ Mechatronics Military technical training/Trade certification

• Basicproficiencywith Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint

• Ability to meet all customer site requirements including safety environmental and health-related protocols

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Valid drivers license

• Validauthorizationto live and work in Germany (work visa or residency permit). While we support visa arrangements for the Taiwan training assignment you must have the legal right to return and work in Germany after completing the12-monthtraining program

• Candidates must be able to travel freely within Europe and hold all necessary documentation to support international business travel.

• Willingness and ability to travelup to75%

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure tofield service maintenance manufacturing support installation engineering or a related technical environment through internships placements or early career experience

• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude involving pneumatics hydraulics electronics vacuum systems or thermodynamics

• Knowledge ofautomation robotics process equipment or precision manufacturing technologies

• Familiarity with hand tools power tools and test equipment including digital multimeters

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics

• Exposure tosemiconductor equipment or in cleanroom environments

• Exposure tosupporting customers in a technical field service capacity

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:
