Position: Audiobook QA Expert German
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15$20/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-narrated audiobooks in German for naturalness accuracy and enjoyment.
• Identify and log errors in synthesized speech including mispronunciations and audio glitches.
• Categorize issues and mark their exact occurrence using our review tools.
• Report on listener satisfaction and pinpoint where narration feels natural or disruptive.
• Maintain attention to detail across extensive audio reviews.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in German (Germany).
• Experience as an active audiobook listener with strong opinions on quality.
• Working English proficiency for clear reporting and team communication.
• Experience in annotation labeling transcription or proofreading.
• Ability to maintain accuracy over long listening sessions.
• Availability for 20 hours/week on a part-time basis.

Preferred

• Experience with AI training-data model-evaluation or audio/QA annotation.
• Background in language editing voice or audio production.
