Full-Stack Software Engineer

heimsoft is dedicated to developing innovative software solutions that redefine the home experience. As we expand our offerings and scale our platforms we are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the core of our product development.

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer you will be instrumental in designing developing and maintaining robust software systems. This role involves:

• Developing and implementing new features for both front-end and back-end applications.

• Writing clean maintainable and efficient code across the full stack.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new products.

• Troubleshooting debugging and upgrading existing software to ensure optimal performance.

• Participating in code reviews and contributing to architectural discussions.

• Ensuring the scalability security and reliability of our software solutions.

To succeed in this role you should have:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.

• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks for both front-end and back-end development.

• Experience with database systems and API design.

• A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• The ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment collaborating from our Freiburg im Breisgau office and remotely.

The salary band for this position is EUR per year.

In your first few months you will integrate into our team familiarizing yourself with our existing codebase and development practices. You will take ownership of specific features contributing to both front-end and back-end development and begin participating in our regular code reviews and team discussions.
