Engineering Manager, Core Commerce Services (mfd)

About your tasks:

• Lead coach and develop a high-performing engineering team through people management mentoring and hiring.
• Define the technical vision architecture and roadmap for the Core Commerce Services domain.
• Drive the design and delivery of scalable services and platform capabilities including our headless checkout.
• Establish clear domain boundaries APIs and integration patterns using domain-driven design principles.
• Collaborate with Product and adjacent engineering teams including Payments while balancing short-term delivery with long-term sustainability.
• Ensure operational excellence through secure scalable resilient and observable systems.
• Foster a culture of ownership continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

Qualifications :

About you:

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Strong background in backend engineering and large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience in defining software architecture APIs event-driven systems and domain-driven design.
• Track record of building and developing high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms core business services or high-volume transactional systems.
• Strong technical judgment combined with empathetic leadership and excellent stakeholder management.
• Ability to balance customer business and technical priorities while making sound architectural decisions.
• Interest in emerging AI-powered and agentic commerce technologies.
