Your future role
We are looking for an intermediate levelDevOps Engineer (f/m/d) to join thenewly builtCloud Delivery Germany as part of SAPs Sovereign Cloud Organization. With the buildout of new Sovereign Cloud regions you will be taking part in laying the foundation towards a unified and competitive business in the regulated industry.

You will be responsible for production cloud operations of our multitenant solutions in Germany.

The role includes the following tasks:

• Cloud Operations: Design implement monitor maintain and optimize the SAP Sovereign Cloud system landscape for Germany.
• Setup of a multi-system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies.
• Provide on-call support for incidents and performance degradations.
• Continuous improvement of implementation documentation
• Partner with engineering team to design and enhance the cloud operation processes

What you will bring

• A growing ability to work with independence on technical issues combined with a collaborative mindset and willingness to work alongside experienced engineers across different time zones.
• Solid working knowledge ofGitLab.
• Foundationalhands-on experience with TerraformandAnsible.
• Good working knowledge of Linux includingSUSE.
• Experience with CI/CDpipelines and workflows.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following:Kubernetes Helm Python BASH scripting.
• Intermediate experience withhyperscaler services cloud computing concepts and databases.
• Developing debugging and troubleshootingskills with a genuine interest in solving technical problems.
• Ability to manage competing tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to work in a24/7 environmentwith on-call duties and flexibility to work in shifts ensuring consistent coverage and support. The role includes an attractive remuneration package for shift work and on-call duties.
• Commitment to maintainingdaily office presencefor efficient team collaboration. Available office locations are Berlin or St. Leon-Rot.
