Co-opStudent R&D Technician

We have an upcoming opportunity in the Research and Development Department as an R&D Technician. Your core mission in this role is to assist the R&D team with product development projects and assignments. Youll collaborate effectively with other team members both R&D and Cross-Functional - to solve critical problems throughout the product development process.

In This Role You Will

• Fabricate and assemble prototypes jigs and fixtures and test stands.
• Provide structured feedback on builds to designers.
• Support on-site testing by fabricating and assembling test fixtures monitoring tests and operating equipment.
• Support regular shop functions such as maintenance and kitting.

Were Looking For

• Experience in fabricating welding and repair of machinery
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and sketches
• Passion and ability for problem solving and decision making
• Must be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision
• Ability to operate farm equipment would be an asset
• Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering or Engineering Tech. (completed or in progress)
