At Playnetic were expanding our backend engineering capabilities to support the growth of our casino platform and game server infrastructure. Our technology team plays a critical role in delivering scalable reliable and high-performance backend systems that power engaging gaming experiences for players around the world.

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our growing team and help build the next generation of backend services and casino game server solutions.

What Youll Do

Backend Development & Game Server Engineering

Design develop and maintain backend services for casino game servers and related tools ensuring scalability reliability and high performance across our platform.

System Integrations & Platform Connectivity

Build and manage integrations with third-party systems external gaming platforms and supporting services to ensure seamless communication across the ecosystem.

End-to-End Feature Ownership

Take ownership of backend features from technical design and development through deployment monitoring and ongoing support.

Collaboration & Problem Solving

Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot product-related issues improve workflows and deliver high-quality solutions.

Performance & Architecture Improvements

Continuously research evaluate and implement improvements to existing systems architecture and backend performance to support platform growth and stability.

What Youll Bring

• Experience in Core Java development

• Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture

• Experience building scalable backend systems and distributed services

• Hands-on experience in iGaming particularly casino game servers

• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with gambling mechanics and industry concepts

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Proactive mindset with a passion for backend engineering and continuous improvement

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with Quarkus

• Knowledge of WebSockets JWT and CORS

• Experience with Docker Redis RabbitMQ Kafka or similar technologies

• Background in performance optimization and system tuning

• Familiarity with certification processes for casino game servers

• Experience working in fast-paced scaling environments
