Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a V&V Electronic Engineer (m/f) to join our Avionics & Simulation Products department based in Toulouse France.


You will be part of a team developing critical avionics equipment and simulators. As part of the IVV team you will be involved in the integration verification and validation of flight control computers aiming at ensuring full compliance with specifications and aeronautical standards.

Your challenges:


  • Define lead and execute the Integration Verification and Validation (IVV) strategy for flight control computers and avionics equipment.
  • Design develop and maintain verification means and test environments (test benches simulators).
  • Write procedures execute tests (boards and FPGAs) and analyze anomalies in collaboration with development teams.
  • Ensure requirement traceability throughout the lifecycle and compliance with aeronautical standards (DO-178C DO-254 ARP4754A).
  • Report compliance status and environmental qualification results to relevant stakeholders.

Your boarding pass:


  • At least 5 years of significant professional experience in integration verification and validation of avionics systems/equipment.
  • Academic background in Engineering Electronics Embedded Systems Aeronautics or a related field.
  • Technical expertise in V&V methodologies (boards FPGAs equipment) high-speed design and communication buses (ARINC 429 AFDX MIL-STD-1553).
  • Proficiency in testing simulation and programming tools (Python LabVIEW C) laboratory instruments and aeronautical standards (DO-178C DO-254 ARP4754A).
  • Strong teamwork rigor analytical and synthesis skills curiosity excellent communication and technical English proficiency.

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
