Why do we need you
You will work directly with the Tech and Product team and your main mission will be to design build and maintain the product code base.
Daily you will:
- Write clean and efficient code in a full-stack fashion covering the entire stack from frontend to backend to infrastructure while following the Shape Up methodology: 6-week Shape 2-week Cooldown and Friday afternoons dedicated to tech topics.
- Take part in the on-call rotation: 1 week per team member during office hours only
- Improve and optimise our current product and infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Youre the ideal person if:
- You have 8 years experience with an object-oriented language such as Ruby
- You are experienced with Ruby on Rails or another web framework (e.g. Spring Symfony Laravel Django) as well as with JavaScript and relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
- You have experience with infrastructure management and/or AI pipelines
- You test your code (e.g. using RSpec)
- You write well-designed and readable code
- You communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and French
- You like to learn new things
