Were looking for a senior Backend Engineer to join our Video Production squad a small focused team at the heart of ScorePlays product.

As one of our back-end engineers on the squad youll take ownership of backend services powering our video processing and media automation flows.

This is a role for someone who wants both autonomy and impact someone eager to take full technical ownership of their projects while collaborating across product video and front-end teams.

1. Backend Development

   • Design build and maintain backend services APIs and data pipelines in Go and related technologies.

   • Monitor performance and reliability ensuring scalable maintainable systems.

2. Data & Databases

   • Design and optimize database schemas queries and indexing for efficient storage and retrieval.

3. Cloud Infrastructure

   • Deploy and manage backend systems on AWS (EC2 S3 Lambda RDS etc.).

   • Optimize resources for scalability reliability and cost efficiency.

4. Collaboration & Delivery

   • Partner with front-end engineers designers and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.

   • Help translate business and product goals into reliable technical solutions.

5. Quality & Continuous Improvement

   • Test debug and review code to ensure functionality performance and resilience.

   • Implement unit and integration tests and contribute to shared best practices across the team.

6. Technical Leadership

   • Lead by example through code reviews mentoring and sharing best practices.

   • Contribute to a culture of technical excellence and learning.
