Job Summary

What does it feel like to be an IT Operations Platforms Specialist in Netcompany

As an IT Operations Platforms Specialist you will:

  • Support the architecture and design of platform solutions including databases middleware virtualisation and container platforms.
  • Implement and manage platform maintenance routines schedules and operational procedures.
  • Implement and operate orchestration and automation tools to maintain optimise and extend platform solutions.
  • Implement and operate platform management monitoring and reporting tools to ensure performance availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve platform-related incidents and technical issues including performance analysis and tuning.
  • Implement and operate shared platform services such as OpenShift Splunk and Oracle Enterprise Manager including backup and restore solutions.
  • Monitor platform health and contribute to continuous improvement optimisation and operational efficiency.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation operational procedures and support documentation collaborating with architecture development infrastructure and operations teams.

Qualifications :

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • University degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in IT platform operations infrastructure or systems administration.
  • Hands-on experience with databases middleware virtualization and container platforms.
  • Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes Splunk Oracle Enterprise Manager or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of automation orchestration monitoring and platform management tools.
  • Experience with backup restore performance tuning and troubleshooting of enterprise platforms.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with architecture development infrastructure and operations teams.
