Job Summary

As a direct extension of the General Manager you will be embedded at the heart of the France & Benelux cluster and exposed to the full spectrum of a rare diseaseaffiliates activities. This internship is designed for a high-potential candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical strategy market access and cross-functional operations in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.
You will work closely with the GM and interact with commercial medical and market access teams across France Belgium and the Netherlands.
Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week or more depending on business many locations the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.
- Support the GM in developing and tracking the clusters strategic priorities and annual operating plan
- Monitor KPIs and commercial performance dashboards; synthesize insights for leadership reviews
- Prepare executive-level presentations and briefing documents for internal and regional stakeholders
- Contribute to competitive intelligence and market landscape analysis across the clusters therapeutic areas
- Support market access activities including HAS/CEPS dossier tracking and reimbursement milestones in France
- Monitor Belgian and Dutch pricing & reimbursement developments (INAMI/NIHDI ZIN/RIZIV) and assess cross-border implications
- Analyze rare disease policy developments and assess their impact on Ultragenyxs portfolio and pipeline
- Liaise with market access teams to support named patient programs andearly accessframeworks (ATU/AAP compassionate use)
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment between Medical Affairs Marketing and Market Access teams
- Support the preparation and follow-up of medical and scientific congress activities across the cluster
- Assistin coordinating key opinion leader (KOL) engagement initiatives and advisory boardlogistics
- Contribute to internal medical communication materials and scientific briefings
- Facilitate cluster-level meetings: prepare agendas take minutes and ensure action item follow-up
- Support the onboarding and integration of new team members or organizational changes
- Lead or contribute to ad hoc strategic or operational projects as defined by the GM
- Final year of a Grande École (business or engineering)Mastersprogram or equivalent ideally with a specialization in life sciences healthcare management or strategy
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear actionable outputs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English (mandatory)
- Highproficiencyin PowerPoint and Excel; ability to build compelling presentations and structured analyses
- Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in rare diseases and the pharmaceutical ecosystem
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with rigor and autonomy
- Proactive detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a lean high-accountability environment
- Prior internship experience in pharma biotech consulting or market access (appreciated but notrequired)
- Familiarity with French pharmaceutical regulation (HAS CEPSOndam) or rare disease landscape (appreciated but notrequired)
