The successful candidate will join the Department ofLaw Management and Social Sciencesand theBRiO Research Centre( contributing to:

The development and delivery ofinnovative action-based learning experiences closely tied to the professional ecosystem (corporations startups NGOs etc.).

Cutting-edge research in their area of expertise

Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate (Bachelors in Business AdministrationBBA) graduate (Programme Grande ÉcolePGE) and specialist Masters programs. Most courses will be taught on theLyon campus with some sessions potentially held at the emlyon Paris campus or abroad.

Additional requirements:

• Desire to work in a collaborative international environment
• Capacity for institutional service (program management curriculum design external representation)
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a plus but not mandatory.

The candidate will be expected to contribute to and will be regularly evaluated in three areas: (1) teaching and student supervision (2) research and (3) institutional service (e.g. administration service on committees representation of the School in the media and at events).

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

emlyon business school complies with the Open Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment principles as stated in the European Code of Conduct for the recruitment of researchers.

The selection committee is appointed by the Head of department and is composed of three to eight professors ensuring a balanced representation of gender national origin and professor grades.

- Pre-selection step: the selection committee reviews all the applications to shortlist those candidates who best meet the criteria described in the candidate profile.

- Shortlisted candidates are invited to a recruitment day (held by videoconference in most cases) witha) a job talk presentationb) one-to-one interviews with committee permanent professor attending the job talk completes an assessment grid. The results are then aggregated to identify and rank-order the two most suitable candidates.

- Finalists are interviewed by the Dean for Faculty & Research and/or the Associate Dean for final decision is communicated by the Dean for Faculty & Research.
