Field Technical Engineer – Electrophysiology Bordeaux or South West

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Field Technical Engineer (Electrophysiology) to join our EP team in the South-West region of France based in or around Bordeaux.

As a Field Technical Engineer you will partner closely with physicians electrophysiologists and catheter laboratory teams to provide technical and clinical support during procedures. You will play a key role in the successful adoption and utilization of Abbotts electrophysiology technologies and contribute to improving outcomes for patients living with heart rhythm disorders.

What Youll Do

• Provide technical support during Electrophysiology procedures including mapping and ablation cases.
• Deliver product training and education to physicians nurses and cath lab personnel.
• Support the implementation and optimization of Abbott EP technologies and solutions.
• Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals across your territory.
• Collaborate with Sales Marketing and Clinical teams to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain a high level of clinical and technical expertise within Electrophysiology.
• Ensure compliance with Abbott quality and regulatory standards.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering Life Sciences Healthcare or a related field.
• Experience supporting electrophysiology cardiac rhythm management structural heart or cath lab procedures.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn advanced cardiac technologies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic hospital environment.
• Fluent French and professional English.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
• Valid drivers license.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Clinical Specialist Field Technical Engineer or Application Specialist within the medical device industry.
• Knowledge of electrophysiology procedures 3D mapping systems and ablation technologies.
• Experience supporting physicians in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
