Job Summary

The Product Line Manager is responsible for building managing and growing a coherent Group portfolio of standard hardware products sold without customization currently developed and maintained across multiple entities.
 

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product line strategy in alignment with the overall business vision.
  • Identify market opportunities customer needs and required product evolutions.
  • Own sales volume margin and lifecycle profitability.
  • Establish a single Group-level portfolio vision and convergence roadmap.
  • Define which products should be developed maintained consolidated repositioned or progressively phased out.
  • Align products technologies interfaces and positioning across the different originating entities.
  • Define and contribute to product pricing and market positioning strategies.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful industrialization and product deployment.
  • Prioritize investments on products with credible recurring-volume potential either across a broad customer base or through high-volume strategic accounts.
  • Improve portfolio coherence by addressing unnecessary overlaps variants and fragmented offers.
  • Support worldwide Sales teams on critical opportunities.
  • Work jointly with Indirect Sales to develop distributors channels and partner networks.
  • Standardize product documentation pricing principles support policies and sales tools.
  • Partner with Marketing teams to promote and enhance product visibility.

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree (Engineering Business Electronics Industrial Engineering Product Management or a related field).
  • 8 years of experience in Product Management Product Line Management Business Development Marketing R&D or a related role within an industrial aerospace defense electronics or high-tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of hardware products industrialization processes and manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and international environments
  • Fluent English
