Position: Audiobook QA Expert French
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15$20/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-narrated audiobooks in French for naturalness accuracy and enjoyment.
• Identify and log errors in synthesized speech such as mispronunciations and audio glitches.
• Categorize issues and mark their exact location using our review tools.
• Report on listener satisfaction and pinpoint where narration enhances or detracts from the experience.
• Maintain attention to detail while working independently across extensive audio content.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in French (France).
• Active audiobook listener with strong opinions on quality.
• Working knowledge of English for clear reporting and communication.
• Experience in annotation labeling transcription or proofreading.
• Ability to maintain accuracy over long listening sessions.
• Reliable availability for 20 hours/week.

Preferred

• Experience in AI training-data model evaluation or audio/QA annotation.
• Background in language editing voice or audio production.
