Diesel / Forklift Mechanic Fiji
Job Location: Fiji
Employment Contract: 3 Years
Working Hours: 48 Hours per Week
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Diesel / Forklift Mechanic with strong hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing trucks and forklifts. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preventive maintenance diagnostics repairs and overhauls of diesel and other equipment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on trucks and forklifts.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential mechanical issues.
- Change fluids replace worn parts and lubricate moving components.
- Diagnose electrical systems engines hydraulic pumps and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot diesel gas and LP engine-related issues.
- Use diagnostic software and technical manuals for system troubleshooting.
- Repair and replace brakes masts transmissions steering components and attachments.
- Carry out repairs and overhauls to maintain equipment in safe operating condition.
- Ensure trucks and forklifts meet applicable safety standards before being released for operation.
- Maintain proper maintenance and repair records.

Education: Higher Secondary School. Age: 26 to 45 years. Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Diesel/ Forklift Mechanic. Experience in truck and forklift mechanical maintenance. Strong knowledge of diesel engines electrical systems hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
