Finance Payment Specialist
Job Summary
Our Accounting team in Tallinn is expanding and we are looking for a Payments Specialist to join us. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about numbers eager to take ownership and ready to thrive in a fast-growing international and collaborative environment.
Your Mission:
- Prepare approve and release vendor invoices IC tax treasury and other internal payments in line with agreed standards processes and SOX requirements.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to payment processing including contributions to bank reconciliation processes and month-end closing tasks.
- Manage payment-related queries via email Slack and Jira.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in our payment processes.
- Support team leadership with key projects and initiatives.
- Assist with risks and SOX controls performance related to payments.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
- Must be currently based in Estonia with valid work authorization.
- Ability to work autonomously make decisions and take initiative.
- Experience in processing payments is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Understanding of core accounting principles.

Our Hiring Process
- Application Review: We evaluate your background in finance accounting or payments execution looking for candidates with relevant experience in payment processing or bookkeeping.

- 1st Interview with the Team (60 mins): A focused conversation diving into your operational experience how you navigate fast-changing environments team collaboration receiving and delivering feedback and problem-solving.
- Final Interview (60 mins): An in-depth interview assessing your past experience and projects how you handle peak workload periods and your approach to managing repetitive tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
