Finance Payment Specialist

Our Accounting team in Tallinn is expanding and we are looking for a Payments Specialist to join us. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about numbers eager to take ownership and ready to thrive in a fast-growing international and collaborative environment.

Your Mission:

• Prepare approve and release vendor invoices IC tax treasury and other internal payments in line with agreed standards processes and SOX requirements.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to payment processing including contributions to bank reconciliation processes and month-end closing tasks.
• Manage payment-related queries via email Slack and Jira.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in our payment processes.
• Support team leadership with key projects and initiatives.
• Assist with risks and SOX controls performance related to payments.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For:

• Must be currently based in Estonia with valid work authorization.
• Ability to work autonomously make decisions and take initiative.
• Experience in processing payments is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Understanding of core accounting principles.

• Application Review: We evaluate your background in finance accounting or payments execution looking for candidates with relevant experience in payment processing or bookkeeping.

• Final Interview (60 mins): An in-depth interview assessing your past experience and projects how you handle peak workload periods and your approach to managing repetitive tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
